Cameras vs cars

I started taking pictures in 2002, at the time I was living in Venice. I was into geometries and empty spaces.

One day, leaving my parent's house, I was rushing so much that I left the camera on top of my car. And I drove back to Venice. And the camera was gone.

I took it as a sign and to not suffer too much I filled my head of " this was not the right time to take your pics". What concretely happened? I was so broke that I was forced to freeze my photography attempts.

Now I've a new camera and I don't have a car anymore: this definitely seems the right time to return taking pics.

And, yes, I'm still into geometries and empty spaces.
